Ashley Marton is on leave and not currently practicing law in Oregon.
What She Fights For
Ashley has practiced law for over a decade. In 2017, she moved to Portland and has exclusively represented individuals facing workplace issues. She is skilled in resolving complex employment issues, such as setting aside broad non-competition agreements, negotiating severance agreements, and ensuring employees are treated fairly and with dignity while they are employed. She is dedicated to helping Oregon employees navigate and find the best path that meets their interests.
What Drives Her
Ashley’s passion for helping “real people” has been a cornerstone of her legal career and her life. Prior to moving to Oregon, Ashley represented employees and injured individuals in Phoenix, Arizona, and New York City. She gained valuable experience as a legal extern at the Phoenix Regional Office of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, which helped develop her passion for employee rights and workers’ dignity. Ashley also spent a year living and working in Nairobi, Kenya, providing advocacy and support to The Girl Child Network’s sanitary napkin campaign. Her time in Kenya sparked a lifetime of public service.
“
Ashley was truly wonderful to work with. She was attentive, professional, clear, and compassionate in a very trying time for me. She supported me every step of my case. I highly recommend her.
