What She Fights For
Growing up in a family of educators, Evan has seen first-hand the nuanced challenges public employees can face at work. After earning her B.A. from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN, Evan moved to Austin, Texas. There she helped injured workers navigate the workers’ compensation system. Evan then worked for several years in public education policy reform for the benefit of Texas teachers before deciding she wanted to have a more tangible influence on the employment landscape. She then received her J.D. from South Texas College of Law and set to work advocating for employees in the workplace.
